Create an account and sign in Official guide

You can browse Enviglo without an account. You need one to keep a library, claim free products, message stores or open a store. This guide covers every way to sign in, how your username is chosen, and what to do if you forget your password.

Ways to sign in

Select Sign in at the top of any page. On a phone, open the menu first. You'll see:

• Continue with Discord: sign in with your Discord account. The first time, this makes your Enviglo account.
• Email me a sign-in link: type your email address and Enviglo emails you a link. There's no password to remember. If there's no account for that address yet, the link makes one.
• Sign in with a password: for an account that has a password.
• Create an account with a password: make an account with your email address and a password.

There's no button to sign in with Roblox. Sign in another way, then link your Roblox account from Settings. See Link your Roblox account.

If you used myPod with Discord, choose Continue with Discord so you land on the account that holds your myPod things. See Coming from myPod.

Sign up with Discord

1. Select Sign in, then Continue with Discord.
2. Discord asks you to allow Enviglo to see your Discord username and picture, your email address and the servers you're in. Approve it.
3. You're taken back to the page you started on, signed in.

Enviglo takes your display name and profile picture from Discord. You can change them in Account settings.

Sign up with your email

With a sign-in link

1. Select Sign in, type your address under Email, and select Email me a sign-in link.
2. Open the email called "Your Enviglo sign-in link" and press Sign in.

The link works once, for 10 minutes. You can use a sign-in link every time you sign in.

With a password

1. Select Sign in, then Create an account with a password.
2. Fill in Your name (how you'll appear on Enviglo; you can leave it blank), Email and Password.
3. Select Create account.
4. Open the email called "Confirm your email for Enviglo" and press Confirm email. Confirming signs you in.

Your password needs at least 8 characters. Passwords that have turned up in a data breach elsewhere aren't allowed.

The confirmation link works for 24 hours. You can't sign in with your password until you've confirmed your address. If you try, Enviglo sends the confirmation email again.

Your username

You don't pick a username when you sign up. Enviglo makes one from your name, or from the first part of your email address if you didn't give a name, and adds numbers if it's taken. Your profile's address is enviglo.com/u/yourname, with your username at the end.

You can change your username any time in Settings. It must be 3 to 32 characters: lowercase letters, numbers and underscores. See Account settings.

Sign out

Select your picture at the top right to open the account menu, then select Sign out.

Forgot your password

1. Select Sign in, then Sign in with a password, then Forgot password?.
2. Type your email address and select Send reset link.
3. Open the email called "Reset your Enviglo password" and press Choose a new password. The link works once, for an hour.
4. Enter a New password, enter it again under Type it again, and select Change password.
5. Select Sign in with it and sign in with your new password.

Changing your password this way signs your account out on every device.

If you never set a password, you don't need one. Use Email me a sign-in link, or Continue with Discord if your account uses it. You can add a password later in Account settings.

Troubleshooting

• "That email and password don't match." Check both, or use Email me a sign-in link instead.
• "Confirm your email first. We've sent the link again." Your account has a password but the address isn't confirmed yet. Press the link in the new email.
• "That link has expired." Sign-in links work once, for 10 minutes. Ask for a new one.
• "That password has shown up in a data breach elsewhere, so it isn't safe to use. Pick a different one." Choose a password you haven't used anywhere else.
• "Too many tries. Wait a minute and try again." Sign-in attempts are limited. Wait, then try again.
• "Sign in did not complete." The Discord sign-in didn't finish. Try again, or sign in with your email.
• No confirmation email after Create account. Check your spam folder. If the address already has an Enviglo account, no email is sent: sign in with a link or your password instead.
• "This account is suspended." The message shows the reason and how long it lasts. If you think it's a mistake, email the address it gives you. A person reads it.

Common questions

Can I sign in with both Discord and my email?

Yes. Add an email address and a password in Settings under Sign-in, and link Discord under Connected accounts. See Account settings and Link your Discord account.

I already have an account. How do I add Discord to it?

Sign in to that account first, then link Discord from Settings. Continue with Discord only finds your existing account if Discord is already linked to it. Otherwise you may end up with a second account. If that happens, open a support ticket.
