The audit log is your store's full record: what your team changed, what your customers did, what came in from your game, and decisions from Enviglo. This guide covers where to find it, what it records, who can see it and how to search it.
Who can see it
Owners and admins.
Staff whose custom role includes Audit log. This permission only comes with a custom role, on Pro and Ultimate. See Roles and permissions.
The log includes giveaway codes, webhook addresses and every customer's activity, which is why it isn't part of the everyday permissions.
Open the audit log
In your store's dashboard, open Audit log, in the Records part of the sidebar. Older links to a store's activity page open the audit log too.
The page starts with four figures:
Entries: how many entries match your filters.
People involved: how many different people appear on the current page.
Most common: the kind of entry that appears most.
From your team: entries by your team, with the number from customers underneath.
Entries are listed newest first, grouped by day, 40 to a page.
What's recorded
Each entry has a tag saying who did it:
Tag
What it covers
Your team
Changes by people on your team: products, prices, files, licenses, codes, bans, settings, team members, roles, approvals, integrations and more
Customers
Downloads, reviews, follows, codes redeemed, and service requests and payments
Your game
Purchases made in your game, and anything done with one of your API keys
Enviglo
Decisions made by the Enviglo team
Automatic
Scheduled work, with nobody behind it
Things done through the Discord bot say "in Discord". Changes a manager approved name the manager who approved them. See Approvals.
Entries are kept for as long as the store exists.
Filter the log
Who: the row of buttons at the top (Everyone, Your team, Customers and so on) shows how many entries each has. Only the ones with entries appear.
Search: type what something was called, such as a product's name, or an action or an IP address, and press Enter.
Done by: one person's entries. Use this to find everything a team member did.
About: one kind of thing, such as products or licenses.
Exactly: one specific action, with how many there are in the date range.
When:Last 24 hours, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 90 days, Last year or All time. The log opens on the last 90 days.
Select Clear to go back to everything from the last 90 days.
Read an entry
Each entry shows who did it, what they did and when. Entries about a product, customer, request, role, approval or similar have an open link that takes you to it.
Select Details (or the number of fields, when something was edited) to see more:
each field that changed, from its old value to its new one
what the entry is about, and the exact date and time
for your team's entries, the IP address and the browser and device they used
anything else recorded with it, such as the code or the reason
Customers' IP addresses and browsers never appear in your log.
To share an entry with someone else on the team who can see the log, open its details and select Copy a link to this entry.
Other places to see activity
Overview: owners and admins see Recent activity, the last few entries from the log, with a link to the Full audit log.
Settings → Team: each member's row shows when they last opened the dashboard, how many changes they've made in the last 30 days, and their latest change. Select the count to see their entries in the log. Everything the team has done opens the whole log.
