## What happens next

- **You're the owner.** Only the owner can hand the store to someone else, close it or delete it.

- - **It starts on the Free plan.** That means up to 5 products and a team of one: you. See [Plans, limits and fees](/wiki/plans-and-fees).

+ - **It's on your plan.** On Free that means up to 10 products and a team of two: you and one other. A plan covers your account and every store you own. See [Plans, limits and fees](/wiki/plans-and-fees).

- **Your storefront is live straight away** at its address, but it has nothing to show until you publish a product. Drafts are only visible to your team.

- **It joins the store directory** at [/stores](/stores) once it has a published product. Before then, people can still find it by searching for its name.

- **A checklist appears** on your store's **Overview** page, called **Set up your store**. It tracks seven steps:

## Troubleshooting

- - **"You've reached your store limit"** shows instead of the form when you already own as many stores as your best plan allows. The message says what would lift the limit, for example: "You own 1 store, the most Free allows. Put one on Pro to own up to 3, or Ultimate for 10." Select **Upgrade a store** to go to where you change a store's plan, or **Compare plans** to see the plans side by side. Ten stores is the most any plan allows; [contact support](/support/new) if you need more.

This version

Opening a store gives you a public storefront, a dashboard to run it from, and the tools to sell and deliver your game assets. It costs nothing to open one.

Before you start

An account. You need to be signed in. See Create an account and sign in.
Room for another store. How many stores you can own depends on the best plan among the stores you already own: 1 on Free, 3 once one of your stores is on Pro, and 10 once one is on Ultimate. Closed stores don't count.
Coming from myPod? Your hub may already be an Enviglo store. Check Your stores first, and see Claim your myPod store if it's waiting to be claimed.

Create your store

Go to /dashboard/new. You can also select New store on Your stores, or Start selling in the site header if you don't have a store yet.
Enter a Store name.
Check the Store URL. It fills itself in from the name until you change it.
Add a Description if you like. You can also write it later.
Select Create store.

Enviglo makes you the store's owner and opens its dashboard.

Choose a name and address

Store name

Between 2 and 48 characters. You can change it whenever you like in your store's settings.

Store URL

This is your store's address, enviglo.com/s/your-store. The form shows the full address under the field as you type.

3 to 48 characters.
Lowercase letters, numbers and single hyphens, with no hyphen at the start or end.
It can't already belong to another store. A few words Enviglo uses for its own pages, such as dashboard, settings and support, are reserved.

Choose it with care. After your store is made, its address can change only once, and only with Enviglo's approval. When it changes, links to the old address stop working. Store settings explains how to ask.

Description

Up to 600 characters about what you make. It appears on your storefront's About tab, and you can use Markdown.
