Saved Sep 29, 2026 by @enviglo: Changes wait for approval
Once published, the product shows on your storefront and across the marketplace: in browse, search and its category. For 30 days from the first time it was published, it can carry the **New** label. Unpublishing and publishing again doesn't restart that.- ### Changes to a live product+ ### Changes to an approved product- A new name, description or file on a live product goes live at once, and Enviglo's team takes a look at it afterwards. **Status** says what's waiting, and the product stays live meanwhile.+ Once a product has been approved, a new name, description or file goes to Enviglo's team before anyone else sees it. Until it's approved, everyone sees the approved version, and owners keep the version of the file before it. **Status** says what's waiting. You can keep editing meanwhile, and the team sees your latest changes.- If the team doesn't approve the changes, the product goes back to a draft until you fix it and submit it for review again. Its owners keep their licenses. You get a notice with the reason.+ When the changes are approved, they're in place straight away, and you get a notice. If you ticked **Tell owners** when you uploaded the file, owners are told then.+ If the team doesn't approve them, the product stays exactly as it was approved, live or not. You get a notice with the reason, and **Status** shows it too. Then either:++ - fix the changes and save them, which sends them again;+ - press **Send them again as they are** in **Status**;+ - take them back: **Take back the new name and description** in **Status**, and delete the version on **Media**.+### Publish once the image is approvedIf an approved product's only missing piece is an image that's still waiting for review, the **Status** box shows **Publish when the image is approved**. Turn it on and the product goes live the moment Enviglo approves the image, exactly as if you'd pressed **Publish**, and you get a notice saying it's live. You don't need to come back for it.…- **Publish or Submit for review is greyed out.** Something on the checklist isn't ticked. An image still waiting for review doesn't count yet, but a product that hasn't been approved can be submitted with it, and one that has can publish itself once the image is approved. See [Submit it for review](#submit-it-for-review).- **"Announcing it puts it on your storefront…"** An announced drop is public, so it has to be approved first. Submit it for review, then announce it once it's approved.- - **The product was taken down.** Enviglo's team didn't approve a new name, description or file. The notice and the **Status** box say why. Fix it and submit it for review again.+ - **My new name, description or file isn't showing.** Changes to an approved product show once Enviglo approves them. **Status** says whether they're waiting or weren't approved, and why.- **"Add a description before publishing."** Publishing from somewhere other than the **Status** box names whatever is missing. Fill it in and try again.- **"Pick a time in the future, or publish it now."** The drop time you picked has already passed.- **"You do not have permission to do that."** Your role doesn't include the permission this needs. This guide takes you from an empty product to one people can find and buy. It's for store owners, admins and staff whose role lets them work on products.
Enviglo creates the product as a draft and opens its Details page. Only your team can see a draft.
A few things are set for you:
If your store is already at its limit, the dialog tells you under the name, for example: "Your plan covers 20 products. Pro raises that to 100."
Open a product from the Products list to reach its pages. You only see the pages your permissions open. The product permissions are Edit products, Publish products, Prices and sales and Delete products.
| Page | What's on it |
|---|
| Permission needed |
|---|
| Overview | Page views, sales, owners, wishlists, recent sales, latest reviews and the product's status | Any product permission |
| Details | Name, web address, summary, description, platform, category and tags | Edit products |
| Pricing | Robux price, stock, license type, bundle contents and sales | Prices and sales |
| Delivery | The Roblox developer product or game pass, and the Discord role | Edit products |
| Media | Images, videos and the files owners download | Edit products |
| Reviews | Reviews from people who own the product | Any product permission |
Details, Pricing and Delivery each save on their own. When you change something, a bar appears at the bottom with the number of unsaved changes. Press Save details, Save pricing or Save delivery to keep them, or Discard to put everything back.
The header across the top of the product's pages shows its status, how complete it is, when it last changed and how many people own it.
The Status box on Overview and Details lists six things. Publish stays greyed out until every one is ticked:
The header shows your progress, like "50% · needs a one-line summary", and says "ready to list" when nothing is missing.
Here's where each one comes from:
Products that went live before a file was needed stay live. To publish one again after taking it down, add a file first.
Press Preview in the header of any of the product's pages to see its public page. While the product isn't published, only your team and Enviglo staff can open it (unless it's an announced drop, below), and a banner at the top says so. Once it's published, the button reads View page.
Enviglo's team looks at every product before it's published for the first time. Enviglo checks its files, pictures and page as soon as you send it, and a person on the team makes the decision.
You'll see "Sent to Enviglo for review." The header says In review, and only your team and Enviglo staff can see the product until it's approved. You can keep editing it while it waits.
When it's approved, it goes live straight away, or at the time you booked if it's a scheduled drop, and you get a notice. If it isn't approved, you get a notice with the reason, and the Status box shows it too. Fix what it says, then press Submit for review again.
Once a product has been approved, Publish puts it live straight away, whenever you like. So does unpublishing it and publishing it again later. Everything that was published before reviews began counts as approved.
Once published, the product shows on your storefront and across the marketplace: in browse, search and its category. For 30 days from the first time it was published, it can carry the New label. Unpublishing and publishing again doesn't restart that.
Once a product has been approved, a new name, description or file goes to Enviglo's team before anyone else sees it. Until it's approved, everyone sees the approved version, and owners keep the version of the file before it. Status says what's waiting. You can keep editing meanwhile, and the team sees your latest changes.
When the changes are approved, they're in place straight away, and you get a notice. If you ticked Tell owners when you uploaded the file, owners are told then.
If the team doesn't approve them, the product stays exactly as it was approved, live or not. You get a notice with the reason, and Status shows it too. Then either:
If an approved product's only missing piece is an image that's still waiting for review, the Status box shows Publish when the image is approved. Turn it on and the product goes live the moment Enviglo approves the image, exactly as if you'd pressed Publish, and you get a notice saying it's live. You don't need to come back for it.
You can book a draft to publish itself at a set time.
An announced drop appears on your storefront before it opens. Its page is public, with a Drops in countdown and no way to buy yet, unless you take pre-orders. Visitors can press the heart to hear when it's out. To announce a drop, the product needs an image first, and it needs to be approved, since announcing makes it public. Book it, submit it for review, and announce it once it's approved.
When the time comes, Enviglo publishes the product within a few minutes and tells everyone who wishlisted it. If the product isn't ready or approved by then, it stays a draft and keeps its booking, and it goes out as soon as it is.
While a drop is booked, Status shows a countdown, plus Change the date, Announce it now or Hide it until it opens, and Cancel the booking.
A verified store can sell an announced drop before it opens. Buyers pay in Robux now, and the product is theirs the moment it's out. See Store settings for how to get verified.
The product page then offers Pre-order on Roblox. Nothing reaches a buyer before release: no download, no Discord role and nothing in game. Their library shows the product as Pre-ordered with the date it's out. When the drop opens, every pre-order becomes an ordinary purchase, and each buyer is told it's out.
Robux can't be handed back, so once anyone has pre-ordered, the drop can only move to another date with Change the date, and everyone who pre-ordered is told the new date. Until it's out, it can't be cancelled, hidden, archived or deleted, and the store can't close. If something has gone wrong, contact Enviglo support.
Until anyone has pre-ordered, Stop taking pre-orders switches it off. Subscriptions and bundles can't be pre-ordered.
Press Unpublish in Status, or choose it from the row menu on Products. The product goes back to being a draft, hidden from everyone outside your team. People who already own it keep it.
To take a product down for good, archive or delete it instead. See Drafts, published and deleted products.
