+ Linking your Roblox account to your Enviglo account tells Enviglo which Roblox player you are. Once it's linked:+ - Products you buy in Roblox games land in your [Library](/library), ready to download.+ - A store's game recognises the products you own from that store, including ones you got on the website. The game finds your licenses through the Enviglo account your Roblox account is linked to.+ - Anything you bought in games before you linked comes across to your account.++ You can't sign in with Roblox. You link it from Settings while you're signed in another way.++ ## Before you start++ - You need an Enviglo account. See [Create an account and sign in](/wiki/create-an-account).+ - Use the Roblox account you buy with. An Enviglo account can have one Roblox account linked, and a Roblox account can only be linked to one Enviglo account.++ ## Link with the verification game++ This is the quickest way. It opens Roblox, so use a device you play Roblox on.++ 1. Open [Settings](/settings) and go to **Connected accounts**. In the side menu it's called **Connections**.+ 2. Next to **Roblox**, select **Link**.+ 3. Choose **Open the verification game**. Roblox opens straight into Enviglo's verification game.+ 4. The game shows your Roblox account and the Enviglo account it's about to link. Check the Enviglo username is yours, then press **Link accounts**.+ 5. Go back to Enviglo. The settings page updates by itself, and Roblox shows as **Linked**.++ If the game asks for a code, type the one the website shows you. It's 8 letters and numbers, and it works for 15 minutes. If Roblox didn't open, select **Open Roblox again**.++ Only press **Link accounts** if the username in the game is yours. The Enviglo account it names will own everything your Roblox account has bought. If it isn't you, press **Cancel** and nothing is linked.++ ## Link with your Roblox profile++ This way works on any device, with just a browser.++ 1. In **Connected accounts**, next to **Roblox**, select **Link**.+ 2. Choose **Use your Roblox profile**.+ 3. Enter **Your Roblox username** and select **Continue**. Your Roblox user ID works too.+ 4. Enviglo shows a phrase of six words. Select **Copy**.+ 5. Select **Open your Roblox profile**. Paste the phrase anywhere in your profile's **About** section and save it on Roblox.+ 6. Back on Enviglo, select **Check my profile**.++ The phrase works for an hour. Roblox can take a minute to show a change, so if the check doesn't find it, wait a moment and check again. Once you're linked, you can take the phrase out of your About section.++ ## Things you bought before linking++ When you buy something in a store's game before your Roblox account is linked, Enviglo keeps it on a placeholder account for your Roblox account. Nobody can sign in to a placeholder account.++ When you link that Roblox account, everything on its placeholder moves to your account: its licenses and purchase records, and any store it held from myPod. You'll get a notification, "Your Roblox purchases are on your account", saying what came across.++ You can hold more than one license for a product. If you already owned something and the placeholder held another license for it, you'll see both.++ ## After you link++ - **Connected accounts** shows your Roblox username and ID next to Roblox.+ - Your public profile shows a **Roblox profile** link.+ - Each new purchase in a game goes straight to your library, and you get a notification about it.++ ## Change or unlink your Roblox account++ 1. In **Connected accounts**, next to **Roblox**, select **Unlink**.+ 2. To link a different Roblox account, select **Link** and use either method above.++ When you unlink:++ - Licenses already on your Enviglo account stay there.+ - Games stop recognising you as the owner of your products until a Roblox account is linked again.+ - Anything you buy in a game with that Roblox account while it's unlinked goes to a placeholder account again. It moves to whichever Enviglo account links that Roblox account next.++ ## Troubleshooting++ - **"That Roblox account is already linked to a different Enviglo account. Unlink it there first."** Sign in to the other account and unlink it. If you can't, [open a support ticket](/support/new) and choose **My account**.+ - **"Your Enviglo account already has a Roblox account linked. Unlink it in Settings → Connections first."** Unlink the old one, then link again.+ - **"Roblox has no account with that username."** Check the spelling. Use your Roblox username, not your display name.+ - **"The phrase isn't in your About section yet."** Make sure you saved it on Roblox, wait a moment, then select **Check my profile** again.+ - **"That code expired. Start again for a new one."** or, in the game, **"That code has expired or has already been used."** Start again from **Connected accounts**.+ - **"You're doing that too often."** You can only start linking a limited number of times an hour. The message says how many minutes to wait.+ - **"Session is not fresh"** when you unlink. Sign out, sign back in, and unlink again.+ - **Your purchases aren't showing.** Check the Roblox ID in **Connected accounts** matches the account you bought with. See [Your library and downloads](/wiki/your-library) and [Get help with a purchase](/wiki/get-help-with-a-purchase).
