+ A sale lowers a product's Robux price for a set time. Enviglo changes the price on Roblox itself, so the sale price is what buyers actually pay. When the sale ends, it puts the normal price back.+ ## Before you start++ - **Permission.** Running sales needs **Prices and sales**. The **Discounts** page is only in your sidebar if you have it.+ - **A Roblox connection.** Sales change prices on Roblox, so your store's Roblox experience must be connected under **Settings**, then **Integrations**. Until it is, **Discounts** asks you to connect first and **New sale** is greyed out.+ - **Game passes** can only be repriced through a connection made with an API key that has game-pass write.+ - **A price to discount.** Each product needs a Robux price and a developer product or game pass. A product priced at 1 Robux can't go any lower.++ ## Two ways to run a sale++ | | From a product's Pricing page | From Discounts |+ |---|---|---|+ | Products | One | Up to 250 |+ | Discount | A sale price in Robux | A percentage off, from 1 to 90 |+ | Starts | Now, or a time you pick | Now, or a time you pick |+ | Ends | A time you pick, or whenever you end it | A time you pick |++ A sale can run for up to 60 days when it has an end time. Sales made either way are listed on **Discounts**.++ ## Put one product on sale++ 1. In your store's dashboard, open **Products**, pick the product, then open **Pricing**.+ 2. In **Sale**, under **Put it on sale**, type the **Sale price in Robux**. It must be at least 1 and less than the normal price.+ 3. Leave **Starts** empty to start now, or pick a time.+ 4. Leave **Ends** empty to run until you stop it, or pick a time.+ 5. Press **Start the sale**, or **Book the sale** if you picked a start time.++ While it runs, **Sale** shows the sale price, how much is off, the normal price and when it goes back. To stop early, press the button that ends it, which names your normal price, like **End the sale and put 500 Robux back**. You'll see "Sale ended and the old price is back."++ If a sale is booked for the product, **Sale** shows **Booked** and when it runs. If the product can't go on sale, it shows **Not on sale** and the reason, such as "Set a Robux price before putting it on sale."++ ## Put several products on sale++ 1. In your store's dashboard, open **Discounts**.+ 2. Press **New sale**.+ 3. Give it a **Name** and set the **Percent off**.+ 4. Leave **Starts** empty to start now, or pick a time. Set **Ends**, which is filled in with a date a week away. It can be up to 60 days after the start.+ 5. Tick the products, or press **Pick all**. **Find a product** narrows the list. Each product shows its normal price struck through beside its sale price.+ 6. Press **Start the sale**, or **Book the sale** if you picked a start time.++ Only published products and drafts priced at 2 Robux or more are listed. A product you can't pick says why: **Not sold on Roblox**, **Needs the Roblox connection**, or **Game pass: needs a key with game-pass write**.++ In a percentage sale, each sale price is worked out from the product's price at the moment the sale starts, rounded to whole Robux. It's always at least 1 Robux and always below the normal price.++ ## What happens on Roblox++ - When a sale starts, Enviglo changes the price of the product's developer product, its game pass, or both if it's sold both ways. If Roblox refuses one of them, the product stays at its normal price and the sale says why.+ - Booked sales start and end on their own, within a few minutes of the times you set.+ - When a sale ends, early or on time, Enviglo puts each normal price back on Roblox.++ ## What buyers see++ - **On the product page:** the normal price struck through, the sale price, and how much is off, like "−25%". If the sale has an end time, a **Sale ends in** countdown.+ - **On cards** in browse, search and your storefront: the same struck-through price and percentage. Browse also has an **On sale** filter.+ - **Before it starts:** if a sale is booked to start within the next two weeks, the product page says when, and how much will be off.+ - **Wishlists:** when a sale starts, people who wishlisted a product in it get one notification about it, however many of their products it covers.++ ## Manage your sales++ **Discounts** groups sales under **Running now**, **Booked** and **Finished**. Each card shows the sale's status (**Running**, **Booked**, **Ended** or **Called off**), when it runs, and its products with their normal and sale prices.++ - **Edit** changes a booked sale made on **Discounts**. A sale booked from a product's **Pricing** page can't be edited: call it off and book a new one.+ - **Call off** stops a booked sale before it starts. Nothing changes on Roblox. Confirm with **Call it off**.+ - **End now** ends a running sale early, and every product goes back to its normal price on Roblox straight away. Confirm with **End the sale**.++ Once a sale has started, you can only end it.++ ## One sale at a time++ A product can only be in one sale at a time, and its sales can't overlap, even when one is only booked. If you try, you'll see which sale is in the way, for example: "Car Pack is already in “Summer sale” at that time." or "Car Pack is already on sale then. End that sale first." End or call off that sale first.++ ## Troubleshooting++ - **"1 product couldn't go on sale. See below."** The sale card lists the reason beside each product, such as "It was already on sale." or "Roblox wouldn't take the new price:" followed by Roblox's reason. Fix it, then put those products in a new sale.+ - **"The start has already passed. Pick a time from now on."** Pick a later start, or leave **Starts** empty to begin now.+ - **"The sale has to end after it starts."** or **"A sale can run for up to 60 days."** Adjust **Ends**.+ - **"Car Pack: the sale price has to be a whole number under its normal 500 Robux."** The message names the product and its normal price. Pick a lower sale price.+ - **"A sale price has to be at least 1 Robux."** Sale prices start at 1 Robux.+ - **You changed a product's price during a sale.** While a sale runs, **Price in Robux** on **Pricing** shows the sale price, and the price from before the sale comes back when it ends. Change the normal price after the sale is over.+ - **A price didn't go back on Roblox.** Enviglo tells you when Roblox refuses to take the normal price back. If your Roblox connection stopped working during the sale, it can't put prices back at all. Check the connection under **Settings**, then **Integrations**. Then set the normal price again: on **Pricing** for a developer product, or on Roblox for a game pass.+ - **"You're doing that too often."** A store can create 30 sales an hour on **Discounts**. Try again in a few minutes.
