Animation packs replace or extend what a character does: walk and run cycles, idles, weapon handling, emotes and gestures.
Roblox has two character rigs and an animation made for one does not fit the other, so check whether a pack is R6, R15 or both before buying. Weapon animations usually assume a particular viewmodel or tool setup too.
